This policy explains which personal data hcscript.com ("we") collects when you visit this website, create an account or buy H C Script, and what we do with it.
Data we collect
- Account data: your name and email address, and your password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Order data: the plan you bought, the amount, the order reference and the payment confirmation sent by FaucetPay (we never receive your FaucetPay password or wallet keys).
- License data: your license key, the domain(s) where the Script is installed, and the technical checks made by your website to our license server (domain, Script version, date and IP address of the server).
- Contact messages: what you write in the contact form and your email address.
- Security logs: IP addresses of sign-ins, failed attempts and orders, used to prevent fraud and abuse.
Why we use it
- To create your account, deliver your license and downloads, and process renewals.
- To check that each license is used on the allowed domain(s).
- To answer your messages and send you important emails (order confirmations, password resets, license expiry).
- To protect this website and our customers against fraud and attacks.
We do not sell your data and we do not send you advertising emails without your permission.
Cookies
We only use one session cookie, required to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. External fonts and icons may be loaded from Google Fonts and cdnjs.
Who receives your data
- FaucetPay, to process your payment (see faucetpay.io for their privacy policy).
- Our hosting provider, which stores this website and its database.
- Authorities, only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Account, order and license data are kept while your account exists and for as long as the law requires for accounting purposes. Security logs are kept for a short period. Contact messages are deleted when they are no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or ask a copy of it, through the Contact page or at [email protected]. Deleting your account also deactivates your licenses.
